Blog Journal #2

MS Word is something that I have used more exponentially over the years. The more I use it, the more tools within it I learn about. I have used MS Word for so long that I feel more comfortable using it as opposed to other word processing software. I believe Google Docs is more useful for collaborative projects, but I prefer MS Word for individual projects since I have more experience with it. The ISTE Standard that is most meaningful to me is 2.3.b: evaluate resources for credibility. I believe that critical analysis of sources is incredibly important in a world where educators have access to a plethora of sources at any given time. News sources may be reflective of political bias and historical sources may have dubious sources themselves. AI generated text, images, and videos will also continue to advance and are another problem to be wary of online. I believe "digital natives" is an apt term to describe those born into using technology. Learning new skills, especially later...
